His long-time association with guitarist Brandon Ross produced two collaborative efforts with Costume, Ross' most recent release (Intoxicate) and Live at the Knitting Factory Vol 2 with the Overflow (A&I). Most recently, Sadiq,  Brandon and bassist Stomu Takaishi  performed in Rome at Fandango Jazz Festival as sadiqbeythemusesboyfriend.
